Fox Chiropractic

More Than Just Families

Coming from a large family, licensed chiropractor, Dr. Fox understands that sickness can affect not only the person involved, but the family also. Living unhealthy lifestyles can be detrimental for you and your family. Children develop the same lifestyles as their parents. The American Academy of Child & Adolescent Psychiatry reported if one parent is obese, there is a 50 percent chance that the children will also be obese.  However, when both parents are obese, the children have an 80 percent chance of being obese.

Regardless if the problem is eating habits, moving (chiropractic and exercise), or psychological habits, children learn from their parents. This is why Dr. Fox preaches an "Eat Well, Move Well, Think Well" lifestyle that was developed by Dr. James Chestnutt.

Families that come in and get chiropractic adjustments together will further their healthy habits, move better, and function better.

A common misconception that most people believe is that children should not be adjusted. Children, with their high activity and frequent traumas, need to be adjusted. Adjustments to children are different than adults. The force applied to their spine is so mild that most the time fingers are used instead of hands.
